    Default WJ cabin heater

Have any of you guys had the cabin heater fuse blow? I replaced it and it just blew again. It looks like the actual cabin heater itself thats causing this. Where is it located and is it a mission to replace?

I also have a problem with my heating and cooling system and the quote I got from JEEP fourways came to

    Labour: R4160 excl
    Housing Air: R1380.71 excl
    Housing Heat: R834.54 excl
    Servo AC te: R4027.38

There where other things on the quote as well to I am not sure if they are part of the heater.

    Insulater EN: R1581.47 excl
    Insulater EN: R1599.23 excl

All I can say is good luck if you need to replace it with a new one, otherwise try and find a second hand one or get that one repaired if that is even possible.

Kobus the controller/relay thingy is in the passenger footwell. My son managed to break the pc board when he discovered the wires under the dashboard and started "playing" with it, using his toes. HennieZJ repaired it for me. It could be that you have a similar problem.

I love this JEEP, everyday I learn a new way of pressing a combination of buttons to give me different diagnostic options. I am going home tonight and the first thing im going to do is to see if I get those errors. Thys thanks alot for the link

I checked my codes last night and i get the following.

    12
    14
    16
    22

I have no idea what any of this means but all I know is that it isnt working. Luckly for me the aircon part kinda works especially if I put it on full blast so I am not to worried. When winter approaches ill start looking into getting it fixed so that I can have some warm air blowing.

Thys, my trekker het nie AZC nie, dis 'n Laredo, so ek kan nie foutkodes oproep soos julle nie.
    Dankie vd inligting.
