    Default Kzn year end gtg

    Hi All,

Once again the festive season is upon us.

Last year we did the Toti Waterfall route for the year end GTG.

Some of us had a few frosties at Firken two weeks ago, and the subject of the year end GTG came up.

We came to the conclusion that maybe this year we should go to Killarney 4x4. Heinz and Belinda were there and said this would be fine.

So, what say you. Anybody keen, or got an alternative idea.

Also we need to set a date. Any proposals.

Would be nice if we could come up with a theme or activities that could include everybody. Maybe something like a cryptic clues treasure hunt (like an easter egg hunt) with little prizes, eg forum licence disk stickers or caps or tins of Q20, even bottles of 2SO, whatever...

    Potjie competition ?

Sheep on a spit, Pig on a spit ?

Who knows Juan may even be here. OK cancel the potjie comp idea.

Please respond with ideas and times/availability.

I will bump this every now and again just incase everybody is sleeping.

Gave it some thought Keith, and here are my suggestions:

How about a "driving skills" test with prizes. I've attended a couple and they're always fun. For example, tying a plumb line to your vehicle bumper and then drive toward a large target on the ground and see if you can score a bullseye.
Or you have two broomsticks cemented into 5l paint tins. The driver sits in his or her vehicle 30m away and tells the marshall how far to move them apart and then drives forward between the poles and sees how close the poles are to the mirrors. The closer, the higher your score.
Or, blindfold the driver and he or she has to navigate around a small laid out track with just the instructions of a co-driver.

These are activities that everyone could take part in and they're alot of fun. Just a suggestion?!?!
