Towards the end of 2000 I installed Jackalberry Seatcovers in the front of my Colt Rodeo. It is made of a cotton type ripstop canvas and is still there after all the years with the Colt in daily use. See
first 2 photos. In 2007 I installed Escape seatcovers in my 79 Cruisr p/u which worn through on the drivers side after app 8 years. The Cruiser is only used on holiday trips so in total the Colt
worked much more, short distances and many in and out of the vehicle. I send the driver side seatcover to Escape who fixed it for free with a darker canvas and on the 3rd photo this is how it looks
now.

Unfortunately Jackalberry don't manufacture seatcovers anymore but I came upon Beesdam, https://www.beesdam.co.za/ , which look well made and reasonably priced with some options for the type of material. I saw them at 4x4 Megaworld and will replace the ones in the Cruiser with them. The Colt I am just going to throw out as the leather is still perfect and for short distances you
don't need them.
