Why not carry both plug types - then you don't need to worry?

I do, however, in April 2018 I am taking a group of 14 people to Kgalagadi and need to advise them on the do's and don'ts and what to take and what not etc? Most of them have never camped before and need to buy their kit.

Yes, they make use of the blue plugs. Take one along.

Gee hopefully not to Mabua. Those if groups are a real nightmare for the park.

Blue plugs - remember to take them away with you at the end of the trip or when you move camp.

I saw one local guy doing the rounds of all the vacant camp sites one morning recovering the blue plugs which had been left behind. Maybe there is a grey market up north!

Blue plugs needed at Mata Mata and Nossob. Cannot say if at TR, but I would think there, too.

    - Because of my work I need internet. Which camp sites have it? (Vodacom seems to give reasonable cover for TR??)
    - Like to see some animals but more interested in the landscape. Which camp is best for such as a base. Is Twee Rivieren OK for that?

We are not kitted to camp without showers/ablution. Off road trailer XT120, solar... and thirsty V8
Not good news on the Internet. I also need the Internet for my business.

I was in the Park from early October to early November 2017. It was broken our first one night stay at Nossob but expected to be fixed in a week.

Then on to Mata Mata. It was broken there, too. And had been for some time. I had to take an overnight trip to 2R, where the Internet works the best. When I was at Mata Mata I heard that it was working again at Nossob, but they had run out of vouchers!

Then back to Nossob. It was working and they had vouchers. While we were there they ran out of vouchers again! (100mb for R60). The network signal is so weak that you need to perch on the step outside the office. Last year it had a wider range.
