Thought I'd share this picture, towed my Jeep to George last weekend with the Pajero Sport and it handled the load flawlessly.

Thanks, the Red Jeep is my toy. The Pajero Sport did really well towing it.

Here is a pic of the holiday the PS took us on over Dec, over 6000 kms driving with 6 people and a trailer.

Looks like you did the trip in the opposite direction to me. What an amazing place the Zambizi river valley is.

    Hey guys,

I have been browsing this thread with some interest. I am in the market to replace my 2007 Toyota Fortuner. I have looked at the new Fortuner's and while I like them it seems like you trading in a second hand model for one that looks exactly the same (very small facelift) but has more buttons.

I have been looking at some other vehicles and am very converned with reliability and re-sale value. The Tuna didn't give me a days headache (4 years and 145000 kms), so I am leaning towards a new Tuna.

However, today I discovered the Mitsubishi Sport. Don't know much about it so would like to hear from people who may have driven both and can give me their unbiased opinion on the two vehicles.

    Thanks
    Victor

Hi Vicsa. To help you out, you mention that reliability and resale is a priority to you. If that's the case, then its a no brainer - buy another Tuna. The reliability on all mitsu's are pretty much bullet proof - they don't ever break down....but when the agents cannot source basic service spares, the you know you're heading for trouble. With a toyota, I finally, with age, get it. People buy them for security - knowing that even though they are overpriced and bland, the service backup behind them are second to none and the inherent reliability makes getting the value from them come resale time a certainty. I bought the PJS because the tuna is, to me anyway, aesthetically horrible and as common as cheese. Now that I'm older and had the hindsight of the aweful Imperial, I would have bought the tuna. But that's my useless opinion. If you find them ok looking (and you obviously do) and don't mind looking extra hard to find yours in the car park, then you know what to get. Good luck.

I`m in the market to replace our 2009 Sport with something new. Drove both the Trailblazer and Fortuner and decided on another Sport.
Was a tough call between Fortuner and Sport , at the end the Full Maintenance plan with the Sport was decisive in my thinking. Some pretty decent deals on the Sport`s now , I suppose as a result of the 2.5 , 5 speed auto Pajero Sport launching towards the end of the year.
Trailblazer drive was pretty disappointing , I so wanted to like it.
