Hi

Can someone please tell when and where I can do 4x4 training in the East London area?

Also, would it be possible to do without your own 4x4? (i.e. like a "driving school")

Vicky,

I only know of two people providing training in East London:

1. Peter John Kruger (Mazeppa Tours) - accredited trainer - 0826512005
2. Pieter Mansfeldt - De Kraal - not an accredited trainer - 0837737752

If you join the Amatola Off-Road Club (AORC) in East London very soon, you can join inn on their training programme that will commence within the next month. Training will be for free for members, and you will only have to pay for the assessments.

The Jeep club will start with training this Saturday, which will be similar to that provided by the AORC, the 11/09/2010 at De Kraal - you are welcome to come and have a look.

As far as I know, you will definately have to use your own vehicle for all of the above training.

Did you forget about the Mitsubishi Course that you went on with Adventure 4x4 Academy, the Mitsubishi Accredited training providers (Venue Owners in Mitsubishi language) for the Eastern Cape?

Vicky also have a look at http://www.4x4training.co.za as well, they do regular training in East London.

There is LR experience training on this Sat...late notice I know. Contact Brian at EC Motors (Land Rover)...all welcome, even if not in a Land Rover

Greetings All

I am delighted to inform you of our next course, due Sunday 5th August 2012.

We meet at Algoa Toyota, Newton Park at 08:30, for registration and I comence the theory part of the day at 09:00.

After the theory section, we will depart for ZOOKAMMA, where we will put the theory into practise. We should end the day around 16:30.

Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing for being in the outdoors. Family and friends are most welcome to attend, however please allow space for the instructor in the passenger seat of your vehicle.

Please also pack in some light snacks for the day, cooldrinks will be provided.

Please drop me a line where you may have any questions, I really look forward to meeting you.

Where is the venue? A bunch of guys went to De Kraal last weekend and the trail is still bushy as always resulting in scratches.

I know that this is an older post but, we have just done a Mitsubishi off road driver training day with Ralph. What a great day we had as a family and a big shout out to Ralph Kent and Adventure 4x4 Academy. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking to do something similar who lives in this area.
