now the trick is to get insurance to rather pay you out for the bumper repair. that way you can upgrade it...

Have a look at this mapping of my BT50 3.2 D/C...well worth the R4 500.00 spent! And a lot better fuel consumption...and....it is LEGAL! Does not effect warranty and no wires, chip's, plug and play nonsense!Click image for larger version.

.How is your warranty not affected? They will have to open to Computer box to remap.

Just what you say, they open the computer box, open the "map file" with correct software and a PC and ....re-map....easy as that! Ford will not even notice the "new map" when they connect to your computer box or FMS(Fuel Management System")

They have done this modification on the showroom floor to brand new vehicles

Was the customer charged extra for this remap on their brand new purchase?

Unfortunately I cannot say because I was not present at the time. It definitely makes an impressive change on a potential buyer must say with the improved performance....

I've tried to convince people but for some reason airport management isn't to keen on it.

    Barend

Die 2.2 se inruil is baie beter as die 3.2 in my ervaring. Wat skrikwekkend is is hoe dealers se offers verskil!
