    Hello South Africa ! ,

I've watched carefully at your pictures in all your websites and made myself an alucab . Now my Mazda is most likely the only 4x4 in Europe driving around with it . Not bad for an amateur as I may say.

Just look at the difference in clearance between the Ranger and Navarra Hope you did'nt have to rescue the navarra during that trip

Yes, the Ranger is a little higher and seems to sport a lot more "natural" protection by nature of design.

The Navarra is also lifted a little with OME. They are very low and very exposed without any mods. One thing I like about the Navarra is that engine. It is quite a powerfull plant in comparison.

I would not underestimate it and it's jockey certainly knows how to handle it! No rescue required!

As an overall package I choose the Ford everytime!

    Default My First Ford

Having driven only VW's, I finally got fedup with potholes asd not being able to drive on gravel without feeling worried about those low profiles, I sold the tdi Polo and bought a Ford Ranger 2.5td 4x2

It is a 2003 model with only 98 000 km on. I was after a 4x4, but could not find one that is as neat as this given my R110 000 budget.

Awesome bakkie, just miss the 17km/l of the Polo.
