    Default Swakop

    Hi Gents
I am taking my mother to visit Swakop, a place she has not been to since her childhood. I am searching around for neat and tidy chalet style self catering accommodation in Swakop. Is Alte Brucke any good? How good/ bad is the municipal rest camp? Will be there for a week, end of August. Any other places that you can recommend?
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Kierie

Alte Brücke will be the better of the 2. Municipal bungalows cheaper. Swakop is riddled with holiday accomodation. What's your budget? That is the limiting factor.

If you need any assistance, just shout.

Thanks for the replies, R500-R800 per unit per night seems to be the going rate for a 2 bed chalet/ room? Will try Alte Brucke first, thanks.

Hi Kierie, a place I just remembered where we stayed, was Brigadoon B&B. Also very nice. You stay sort of outside in a room with a varandah. Breakfast is served on the "stoep" in the mornings. We loved it!!!

Agree with Spook. Very nice accommodation. The owner also rent out the units in front, on the sea, self catering. Not sure about the tarrifs

Ek het 'n woonstel in Swakop as jy nie regkom elders nie.

    Kyk by http://www.nels-estates.com.na/swako...odation105.htm

Moenie stres oor die prys op die blad nie.
Ons forum mense kyk mos na mekaar - of hoe ?

Daar het ook intussen 'n wasmasjien en tuimeldroer bygekom wat nie op die foto's is nie (ou foto's).
