Special forum stickers will be made once we reach concent on some particulars

I have been chatting with Dirk and he indicated that he will entertain the request for a once off order for bonnet sized stickers. I came up with the idea after I saw his yellow Jeep with the bonnet sticker. Personally I would like a sticker covering my bonnet (hoping it also fits on my roof in case I change my mind). Between me and Dirk we couldn't come up with a size as all the various different bonnet sizes will have to be considered to determine a final generic sticker size.

Now, we require forum member to firstly indicate if there's indeed an interrest in such a sticker and secondly on a proposed size. Currently it is still unclear if it would/could be a color or just a black sticker. Personally I would prefer a color sticker but I'm pretty sure there might be just as much interest in only a black sticker.

I guess that this stickers will only be made if there is a considerable interrest from the forum. There is no indication currently on pricing but I am sure that it will be good value for money. I have indicated that I am willing to customize stickers for free (do the graphical work) with forum names if a decision have been made on the cost implications and feasability by Dirk. Keep in mind that personalization might NOT BE POSSIBLE. Let's get an idea of what the forum would like and let's take it from there. Hope the above information is accurate and in order with you Dirk?

I would be interested in a type of sticker that you can stick on the rear window of a canopy. I have seen something at a local photoshop that is "see-through" from the cab. You can than have the community logo as an imprint. By using this sticker one would be able to protect the rear window from stones flinging of your trailer and hitting the window. Don't know if it would be possible.

PS - I hope my explanation makes sense.

Ek stem saam met 'n magnetiese sticker, maar maak die groote sodat dit ook op die deure kan pas, indien verkies.

Let's first focus on the bonnet sticker if possible please. Witlkipbank, can you fill in the Template please so that we start to get an idea on size, color etc... For the record, I would also be interrested in a magnetic sticker, but let's handle that later. Dirk will notify us at a later stage what is/ is not possible.

This thread is all about suggestions, you have any? Magnetic door/bonnet stickers might be the way to go after all. Therefore, if it can't fit on your bonnet, you can have it on your door/doors. I'm comfortable with both option for the record. We need proposed sizes please.

I would like one for my Toyota. the same size as uncle Dirks on his bonnet. Mine must just be yellow as the Toyota is Black

Dirk, can you remember what was your sticker size? Madota, I'm thinking a neon yellow... I have a type of gunmetal-greyish color Toyota. I'm pretty sure we can get more than one color sticker.

If the sticker is one color they should last for a long time as the vinyl from which they are cut contains the color. A printed sticker only have the color on the surface of the material. This is exactly why I would suggest a permanent sticker to be one color. Magnetic stickers could be color as they will typically not remain exposed to the sun.

Comments: Magnetic will not work on glass or Landys, also can get get stolen easily. I don't like the idea of sticking things onto the paintwork, so my choice will be a sticker that can be stuck to glass.

Whilst you are going to a fair amount of effort, you may consider one type of sticker that can be used on various sufaces .
