    Default Impala Lilly

    One of my favourite plants.

This one is about 3m tall.

    Also a very protected species.

Hi Henri,is this one of the plants that you get when you enter Messina from Louis Trichardt on the N1
There are quite a few of them.
Aso as mentioned; quite a few in the Punda and Shingwedzi area although we have seen them as far south as a few kilometers from Berg en DaL.

Wow, I never knew they grew that big(Very uneducated in plants). We have lots of them around here, but I have never seen it like that.

    Very nice.

This one is on Ian Cooper's farm. He has some there that will reach 4m quite easily.

That is a beautiful specimen Henri. It is a pity that these magnificent plants are endangered and once again man comes in to the equation as well as baboons. Srtangely the milky sap is poisonous as with most in the genus Adenuim
