Default Dumping google Earth Images to File

Flippen nice app, put in your co-ords, and the program retrieves the tiles from GE and dumps it to a directory, once that is done you can recombine the tiles to form a single image of an area.

Google Maps Images Downloader 2.3 Released at Mar,31 2007! Google Maps Images Downloader is a cute tool that help you to get small tile images from Google Maps. All downloaded small images are saved on the disk. You can view downloaded maps by MapViewer.exe Or you can combine them into a big BMP map by Combine.exe.
Note: The downloaded images are only for your personal purpose, non-commercial use.
It is very easy to use. Click here to see how to use it. And here is an downloaded images example under zoom 18.

It is a shareware, for trial version, you can not download high precision images (For trial version, the max zoom level is 13; for registered version, the max zoom level is 25. But for most areas, the actual max zoom level is 1. It is cost you only 24.95$!

I just captured the PE area, here's a cutout of the harbour section. It captured 684 small images, but includes a program to combine the tiles into a single BMP file (89meg), which can then be converted to JPG file.

    Nice, thanks.

Although if you buy Google Earth Plus ($20) you can also save maps that are bigger than the screen area as images. Don't know how big, haven't bought it yet, still trying to figure out if you can use a BT GPS with it...
