Sahara vs Rubi; have a look at the difference in front articulation. These two pictures are from just about the same angle, same obstacle.

Yip, you are very brave! If your left front wheel did not slip down into the hole it might have been a different outcome. You could not even turn your steering wheel at all.

If Marc deflated and not had his tyres at 3 bar the tyre might have gripped and not slipped

    Good evening gents,

Sorry could not make it, had to work.

Looks like a lot of fun has had by everyone. So sad that I missed the drive, will fit new tyres during the next week.

See you at the next trial.

    Cheers

Nick wants to do Brakke before he goes back to CT in July, so he will probably start a thread about it sometime soon.

Yes indeed. Before I go back to CT (around 20 July) I would like to do Off Camber and Brakkeduine. On Wednesday when I go to the club I will just check on the dates of their drives and arrange our trips around that. There will definitely be a quick trip along the UPE fence thrown in there too.

The problem with PE in winter is that the sun sets very early about 5:30 so does not give much time for driving for those that can't take the whole afternoon off (like me ) I am lucky if I shut up shop by 4pm on a friday, summer is a different matter!!

Looking at Google earth, there is vast tracts of sandunes covered with port jackson willow between UPE fence, marine drive and Scoenies(?) I also see there are some tracks leading through this area. Does anyone know anything about this area??
