    Default Disco II Windscreen Leak

I seem to have a windscreen leak on my Discovery II. Whenever I wash it, clean the windscreen whilst driving or when it rains, I get a small trickle of water running down the inside of the windscreen (drivers side).

I took it past PG Glass and they squeezed some extra sealant under the rubber, but that didnt seem to make a difference.

Has anyone else had this problem before? Any suggestions?

When I visited the Cederberg a few months back, I noticed it was wet under my floor mat. I only crossed one very low stream (not even 10cm deep). Could this have come from the leaking windscren also?

I had a similar problem, looks like the plastic cover below the windscreen buckled a bit and let water through. I temporarily fixed it permanently with duct tape

Thanks. I am not sure this is my problem; the water is leaking from the top of the windscreen and running down the inside of the glass.

Yip seems to be a landy/PG Glass thing. Mine also leaked on the corner. I used some of that paraffin "putty" stuff that you use when installing toilets, we also use it to seal small holes in the boats... worked a little into the gap then used a hair dryer to melt it a bit and provide a good seal. I wasn't going to remove the whole windscreen and the fix seems to be lasting so far.

I removed my headliner, thinking it was the ''usual'' blocked drain pipes etc. I then found it leaks in through the top of the windscreen. I see there are two small pads/seals in the top corner of each side of the windscreen. There is a gap between this and the body. On the LHS it was bigger than the right, and this is the side where it leaks the most.

I have decided to redo the headliner while it is out, so want to make sure I seal it up good and proper before re-installing.

Can any of the above advise about how well their solutions have lasted ?
