    Default Mtunzini info

Hi, i would like to find out more about Mtunzini. My friend recently move there and we plan on visiting Mtunzini somewhere in September.

Is there places to go do day trails?
is there places to do some dune driving?
any legal permits to know off?
Its only funny until someone gets hurt.

Beautiful surroundings. Definately no day trails or dune driving, but worth a visit. Lots to see.

There is a trail at Eshowe.
Called Dlinza Forest, or Ngoye Forest.
Don't think it's anything hectic, probably just a nice scenic drive for an afternoon picnic.

Nothing near the beach / dune driving etc .

Ngoye forest is nice and can get very muddy . About 30mins drive , excellent birding .

like Kippie says, estuary is stunning, and for a day drive a bit further north, you can try mfuli game reserve just outside empangeni or contact RIG and he can show you a few more spots in that area. if you were keen for a weekend mission, he might even show you the richards bay to stLucia offroad trip... that is something amazing to do and see.

    NO HILUX ?

    NO CHANCE!
    HAVE A NICE DAY!

Thanks, i don't mind any drive as long as its out in the open just to see and explore the / a place. (We did a 1600km drive in Dec in 2 days RTB to Augrabies and back)

dont know about a boat thou, but had a look at Imfolozi Game Reserve and made a note to visit it if possible.

Thanks for the Info Mudz, i will surely keep the richards bay to stLucia trip as an option depending on the time frame we will have and confirm more closer to the time.

    Hi Johan,

Did you go do anything worthwhile? I am going to be in the area for the first week in January, anything you (or anyone else) can recommend?

    Cheers
