Default Baboons Pass with a 2006 Prado 4.0 VX

    Hi,

We are planning to do the Baboons Pass early November with a convoy of between 8 to 10 vehicles.

I have a stock standard 2006 Prado 4.0 VX. Will I be able to do the Baboons pass?

I want to replace the current Dunlop tyres with BFG and keep the standard size of 265x65x17. Will I be able to fit 265x70x17? If so what is the Pro's & cons beside the small ground clearance benefit?

I'm a little bit concern about the fuel tank on the side. Will I need rock sliders or will it be ok to just remove the side steps?

Has anyone done the Baboon pass with a Prado as mine?

Any other advise will really be appreciated.

    Thanks.
