Default Pajero LWB 3.0 V6 Replacement Exhaust

Has anyone in Cape Town replaced their exhaust system on a 3.0 V6 Pajero LWB?
I am struggling to find an exhaust centre who can quote me on a replacement.
    Mitsubishi Paarden Eiland wanted THOUSANDS!!!

Even googling I only find ones for the 3.5 V6, is it the same exhaust from the manifold back?

    Nick,

You don't go to the agents to fit an exhaust system - as you found out, they are horrendously expensive. Search for your nearest De Graaf or similar exhaust shop. They will build you one from scratch and make it silent, noisy or however you like it. It will also cost a lot less.

Shops like Kwik Fit and Speedy might have pre-manufactured systems that just bolt on. Shop around, get quotes and compare. Also ask the thickness of pipe used - different shops use different thicknesses and they might charge the same amount for it. The thicker pipes will last longer than thinner ones. Most okes use the 1.6mm thick pipes while others, if I remember correctly, use a 2mm thick pipe.
