    Default Easter Camping

    Hi,
We are now in SA after having spent 12 months driving here though West Africa - and LOVING it! However we have only just realised that it is Easter in a week or so & keep being told that we MUST book somewhere, as everywhere will be full. We have never booked anywhere in 12 months, but suppose that this may be good advice, as an initial search appears to reveal that everywhere is already booked!!
Can anyone one recommend anywhere in the north of Western Cape, or south of Northern Cape that we are likely to be able to camp. What about the West Coast Trail - is that wild camping & is it likely to be packed?? Any ideas would be most welcome.

Most locals will be "heading out" to places like Biedouwvalley, Koningskop etc

Which MIGHT mean that the places close by might have some openings, such as Ouskip in Melkbos or even Monte Christo

Try Springbok caravan park as you will be close to the Namaqua national park and the West Coast eco trail as well.

Just remember easter means rain along the cape/western coast and inland will be a better choice for camping.
If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right. SJ
