    Question Battery Indicator Light

    Hello,

Anybody out here who has experience with a Jurgens caravan battery indicator light?

I bought a brandnew XCape but after charging the battery for now 3 days still the last green light (14.2V) won't come up and it gives me only 13.7V. When unplugging the caravan from 220V the indicator light even drops down to 13.2V.

Should this happen on a brandnew battery or could there might be something faulty?

    Any comments appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Alexander

    Hi

Im not sure about the Jurgens but most of the other Trailer manufacturers lights very seldom go into the 14v area that is actualy a sign of overcharge and the light soul be yellow of red,

Not very much wrong with those voltages Alexander. What loads have you still got connected when unplugging? Use a proper multi-meter to double check. Those indicator lights are not that accurate at times...

No load at all. No fridge, no light, no geysir...

But checking it with proper multi-meter is a good idea.

    Thanks,
