Hey Wayne, it was good fun.

Trevor and myself left here this morning in pelting rain, but fortunately just as we hit Sheppies the rain stopped and it turned into a beautiful day to be outside.

There is absolutely NO challenge in that route. In fact, if you don't have a VERY low spoiler on your car you can drive it with that, and I'm not joking. It IS pretty, and that hanging bridge to the Eagle's Nest is great. Funny how big, grown men walk up to this thing and then just turn around and don't even touch it. And I'm not talking of people with a fear of heights

At the same time a little 5year old girl stood there crying her heart out because her mom wouldn't allow het to walk the bridge. I wonder when parents are going to learn NOT to force their stupids fears onto their children, hell you can't fall of that bridge if you TRIED!

There are other 4x4 tracks in that area, Oribi Gorge Guest Farm, Klipspringer Echo Ventures and Tucker's. I've done Tucker's and that is merely a drive through sugar cane fields which can easily be done in a 4x2. I want to go scout the other two sooner rather than later. Got the telephone numbers. Will keep you posted.

    Hi Sakkie,

Sorry I had to miss it
Sounds like exactly what i like for my little 4x4, beautiful scenery and not too challenging.
I have started to look for a bigger, better vehicle. You will be pleased to hear I am looking at getting a frontier 280dt, and lifting it a little, then I can join you on the more challenging stuff too.

Do you have any pics from Eland NR?

    Cheers
