SWAMBO's 2006 1.6 Fiesta Ghia is due for a service (80,000km). The aircon makes one hell of a noise when switched on - still working fine though. We have done all the previous services at Porter's Auto Paarden Eiland. SWAMBO is not happy with them. With the 60,000km service they replaced the front brake pads AND the discs. 1st time I've heard that brake pads (original set) and discs needs to be replaced in one go? She is very light on the brakes and the previous set was far from metal on metal. The vehicle is currently out of warranty. Can any of you suggest a place - not necessarily a Ford dealer - where I can take her car for a service and have the aircon sorted out as well? It would be convenient if the place is in more or less the same area - travelling from Table View area via Koeberg road to Pinelands.
