One of the stupid mistakes in life is to underestimate peoples level of stupidity!
? No one getting stuck?

The photo doesn't show which route the Amarok took to get into a recovery position. But, more importantly, I learnt that the most important 4x4 accessory is the nut holding the steering wheel.
It's all down to experience and knowledge. I was once recovered by a Fortuner with almost bald tyres but the driver drove rings around me when it came to off-roading.

So understand
Don't waste your time always searching for those wasted years
Face up, make your stand
And realize you're living in the golden years
Hahahahait was at the Meadows 4x4 in PE on their river section. There are 3 route going up with the easiest on the right and the most difficult on the left. Normally we go up the middle and down the right, so actually quite easy to get up there. The route on the left was new and one of the passengers piped up "let's try that one....". It's a short hill but steep and the sand is soft so I was almost out but also dug myself in right at the end. I'm sure I could've made it if I tried harder but I'm not that windgat as the prado is my daily driver and not my toy
kidding
Amarok impressed me that day but he couldn't make it up that hill at all
I have more recovery gear but all I needed was a very gentle pull![]()

Getting stuck is sometimes half the fun and you get to learn more....and a lot of those smart arsses are only smart in hindsight or because they have picked up that first experience
For me it was a learning curve moving from something with a mechanical locker to something with traction control and so I know I'm part of the reason why I got stuck but it was a learning experience and good fun
We all need to keep contributing![]()

Meeste recoveries is meestal net so `n trek en daar gaan jy.
