It is just amazing what some people can do with a vehicle.
A previous next door neighbour was a vivid angler and was forever spending time at and around Hentiesbaai.
For years his transport was an Opel Rekord Berlina and according to the photos he went just about everywhere.
His secret was pap tyres and high speed driving on washed-up kelp.

    Hey Rudi hoezit.
I can not believe that people will still use their tow hitches as recovery points!
I have seen these do serious damage to people and vehicles.

Well, the lada is the "PJ" in our club and is game for anything. I think he just wanted to test out his wading skills. It seems he forgot that we have had a lot of rain during the week seeing that he could get thru a few days earlier. At the point of no returne the Lada started to float away from "shore" and he opened the door the get her wheels back on the ground. This cause her to stall and me getting a telephone call.

I think having nearly a stadium full of people watching didn't help his echo.
