I commute back and forth between Montagu and Cape Town and then have a week in Cape Town every second week driving in heavy traffic. I average 12.2 litres per 100 kms. One can reduce it with a lighter foot, down to approx 11.7 l/100 kms.

    Regards

That's not bad, I haven't had one myself but friends had one and complained about the fuel consumption, but they had the Sportage. That's even better than the Gen 1 Sportage I had!

Enjoy it. It's a nice motor. How many kilometres has the vehicle done?

goin great but heavy on fuel 6-6.5 per litre, but mostly stop start driving and short distances. mileage per litre increases a lot and fairly quickly on highway. goin away next month so will see what it gets on the open road. loving it though and my wife says she loves driving it too!
