Bob, the list of participants should come together over the next couple of weeks. Our experience in the past was that not everyone indicating that they want to do the challenges ends up doing it once they have seen it first hand. There is still some time available but I want to have a firm list of participants by 12th April at the latest.

We are receiving PM's from forum members indicating that they will either spectate or assist on the day, which is great.

Sakkie is the first definite as a participant, he knows the Rhino so he's in.

Mad Manny is busy losing sleep over whether he should try the Rhino, but that's just between you and me.

I may involve a few product sponsors so as to limit the cost to the participants. Let's see...

I stood next to a '99 4.6HSE Range Rover on top of Rhino....

That was before it was fenced in.

Desertlion.....if this feat is going to be anything like the Jeep Vs Fortuner attendance at Hennops, you better prepare for a nice full attendance...
who knows, maybe the Jeep guys will dare the Toyo guys again...

...Rhino is not an "I dare you" thing. It's one of those that serious offroaders wants to tick off the to-do list.

[/HTML] Now that may be a good idea - remember Manny's claim that his Fortuna will go where the Jeeps go - so if we can get a Jeep or two to try this (not sure the Jeeps will make it ) we can get Manny to show them with his Fortuna how it is done.

going up is great fun and takes quite a bit of skill, but coming down is a whole other ball game.
the best photos are of the faces of the drivers at that first drop off from the top. right at that point where they start wondering what they are doing up there.
