    Nice setup Jackie.P

I am interested in your long range tank.
I am guessing you removed the under floor tool tray on the SWB and had a tank fitted in that space?
Did you do this yourself or have it done?

I have the 3.8V6 SWB and I am looking at fitting a LRT in that space as I need the range for longer routes.

Ditto, currently trying to design and have one built but would prefer an off the shelf solution.

I was considering doing it myself after a lot of research, but eventually spoke to Arnold Venter at MitsiTech in Alberton and his team did it for me. They rerouted my existing exhaust to come out on the left side. removing the big silencer box at the rear. Also, as I have an aftermarket steel bumper they built it in for me to fit perfectly.

And no, I did not take out the under floor tray. They built it around it, that is why it is only about 42litres. It is a pump over system, so there is no gauge on the tank, and it fills automatically with the main tank. The filler pipes had been modified to fill both tanks. So while driving you gauge shows the main tank as normal, but once I get close to empty I start pumping it over from the reserve tank until that is empty. Very uncomplicated system

I was really fed-up of lugging jerry cans around on my roofrack and using my minimal space I had left, and now the weight of extra fuel had been lowered to close to ground as well

I must admit, I have been secretly lurking in this corner of the forums looking and reading about Pajeros...

I am in the merket for a new/good used 4x4/overlander and no matter how much convince myself otherwise, it actually does seen as if the Pajero is arguably the best bang for buck with space vs comfort vs reliability vs proce vs offroad prowess ...

for like 500-700k you can pick up some pretty fine and fairly new examples!
