Nice pic coenoes, I owned a Pajero Sport and Triton both 3.2 Auto And I just fell in love with the LWB Pajero (That I own now). BUT! for obstacles, I believe the sport was still a bit better. For touring and over landing like I am doing now, The LWB is just bigger and smoother. The space is better...is the car better than the Sport? Not too much (than the 3.2), but yes way better than the 2.5 which I hate. I say this with experience with Mitsubishi themselves, first hand being in the industry... LWB is just something else though. Just love the shape

Got this 2006 Pajero 3.2D GLX a few weeks ago and I've been working on it and fixing up things since then. This what is looks like now:

    Upgrades done thus far:

    Smash and grab tint
Sony AX-5000 radio and full speaker set replacement
    Kenwood VHF radio installation
    MaxTraxx sand ladders installation
GSM cellular receiver installation (for wifi #glamping) - actually its more for on-road navigation so I can get a better phone signal for Waze, but also wifi is a plus.
    Hi-lift jack mount installation
Front Runner roof top tent mounting installation
    Propane tank mount installation

Dual battery system was already installed but we changed some of the wiring around as a result of adding the radio and replacing all the 12v plugs with Hella plugs for fridges and other higher amperage stuff...

Theres not much left that I have in mind for it besides and few spare tire things from front runner like a braai and the ratcheting ladder so I can get to the roof better.

All thats left is to take her out to the bush and put her to work. Can't wait!

    Hi

Tell me more about the GSm Cell unit. How does it work and where do one get this at what cost. Thanks. BTW, like your Pajero

Hey sorry for the late reply. The GSM works like a radio antenna, sort of. It comes with two cables that you must run to somewhere inside the car. The cables plug into the back of most wifi routers. You still need a SIM card inside the router to have data but the process is very similar to charging data to your phone. Just without paying for airtime. Putting the antenna on the roof gives it the best signal and when its there you'll get a much stronger signal than you'll get on your phone. I've been up in the Drakensburg with 1 bar on edge on my phone with the GSM giving me 3G with 3-4 bars signal strength.

As for where to buy them, I got mine from a online store called Otto Wireless: https://otto-wireless-solutions.myshopify.com

The price can differ based on what type of antenna you buy. Mine was around R800.

Hope that helps. These antennas are definitely worth it if you need wifi and internet connectivity out in the bush or on the road.

The Pajero spent the day with The Blonde and the Youngest Blonde in Mfolozi Game Reserve today which made the two fall in love again with the car. The Paj makes my family happy which counts more than anything.
