The Pajero was called to urgent duty two weeks ago, has done Durban and back home six times and tonight brought my precious cargo home for two nights and then back on Friday. The long highway stretches and bumper to bumper traffic it just smiles at, such an easy car to live with.

Dankie Pajero, jy is 'n yster.

Another Durban trip and back this morning early, the Paj looks lost without it's roofrack which I've removed.

The huge boot area in the Paj can take a wheelchair, along with luggage. Easy job.

Out of interest: as we are travelling much more than normal with the Gen 4 Paj, fuel consumption has been a serious worry due to costs. With the roof rack removed and driving at 110 or so and being conscious to try and get the box to lock up and keep the revs down we seem to be getting almost 10km/ L. The onboard computer also doesn't seem to be too far off with it's estimates.

And this with the thirsty pre 2010 upgrade 3.2 engine.

The pics suggest you are running in 4H. I would consider 2H if fuel consumption is an issue, it may help a bit.
