We drove up in the morning, stopped at the pub on top of Sani, had lunch and came back. We stayed at Lake Naverone for a week so Sani was just a day trip.

I am so happy I have got myself back into a pajero again. This time I am in the 3500 v6 24 valve gen 2.5 blister fender. It has roof rack, roof top tent, ome suspension, canvas seat covers. Such exciting times ahead in a pajero again.

    Deja vu..

Same place with the Triton..the Blonde found a washed up cable drum on the stretch of beach we were visiting and insisted we take it home. Didn't feel like putting everything on the roofrack on the Pajero to load the drum so after getting home I went back with the Triton to fetch it.

Strange it is, but we were "entertained" the whole day with people getting stuck on this stretch of sand, recoveries and what have you with red shackles nogal. But both my Mitsus went through without issue which I shouldn't even mention as this is easy sand.

Hehe. You did much worse than that here in the dunes and to pelican point.

But saw yesterday a v6 amarok stuck badly ( according to the driver's swambo because of very dangerous and soft sand ) on the beach near langstrand, looks very similar to that pic.

Stopped next to them and offered to help , deflated tyres from 2.6 to 1.0 bar , showed the owner where and how to switch off tc and he drove out by himself.
