Default Hogsback Xmas in July weekend

Took the Duster AWD to Hogsback this weekend. It performed effortlessly on the 530km there and back up and down mountain passes and on very sludgy dirt roads in and around the quaint little town. Very happy with this vehicle.

Did you do the 'hogs back' trail that goes directly under the hogs' back? Beautiful place that middle earth

No we didn't, we took the back road (oak road) past the town main centre to Madonna & Child, but will definitely go back and try the "hogs back" trail and report back.

ADUP, looks like your Tiguan is nicely setup there and you have been to a few places with it. Hope to add a few of my own.

Sorry, not a 4x4 or offroading pic, but nevertheless proud of my softy. Handled the Regal with ease and returned a 9.8km per litre consumption!!

Heard about some snowfall on the Matroosberg Mountains last Friday/night and decided on Saturday to go look. A chance to see what the "Softy" can do in mud and (hopefully) snow. Far less snow fell than expected. Snow could only be reached via the 4x4 trail in the Nature Reserve. We did the 4x2 trail instead. It was a good relaxed introduction to get used to the new Duster. Used 4wd lock twice and am very impressed with ability, approach, departure and break over angle.
