    Default Windscreen replacement.

I had a small a chip on the Jeep's windscreen that now, all of a sudden, turned into a crack from the top down on the drivers side. I realise that it is now to late for any prevention, and the windscreen must be replaced.
What bothers me is that the Jeep is fitted with rain sensors, and I am worried that if the windscreen is replaced these could be damaged, or they could fit a standard windscreen without them.
Where are these sensors located, and how do they function?
    Anyone with experience on this?
