Does the Pajero Gen 1 have the Diff lock?

Referring to the rear diff, no, it has a limited slip (which doesn't work!)

The Gen 1 Pajero, as far as I know, does not have the Super Select 4wd system. It is based on the same system as most bakkies (including the Colt) has, where once you engage 4wd, the front wheels are locked with the rear wheels. This has the exact same effect as a centre diff lock, even though there is no differential.

So do not engage 4x4 on tar.
