Het laasjaar in Angola getoer, teoreties is brandstof nie n probleem nie-----jy moet net soek na n vulstasie in n dorp wat die verlangde branstof het. As jy jou roete beskryf sal dit help

    Default Angola fuel

Just got back from Angola - 3 Sept. Fuel not a problem in Angola in the larger towns - also diesel only cost R3.20 per litre!!!!!!!!

Looking at your route you will easily get fuel in Tombua and Namibe.

Just some suggestions in your planning - we have been up 4 times.

Try use the small borders only - Ruacana and our new favourite Calueque. Avoid the main road from Cahama to Oshikango - still in bad condition.

From either Ruacana to Foz du Kunene it will take about 2 and a half days driving time - you will need to spend at least two nights camping between Ruacana and the Foz.....you could probably push a bit but not worth it. Enjoy the drive.

Make sure if you are driving the beach past Tigres you do it on spring low tide - also if driving this stretch think about getting a local guide. You can do the back route but that will take at lest a day.

Let me know if you have any further questions or need some more advice.
