will give an update once I have done my first tank of happy juice

no lockers = base or lux model.

V8 Adventure has the rear and front locker

So the question will be which trim/accessory level you want.

I want a yellow v8 adventure with lux package my only worry was when gm sold the v8 they made the new owner sign a notice that gm does not cover overheating as there was a knowen overheating problem with them i think 2009 models and upwards had efans in the front plus the clutch fan on the inside. So when we taking your new alpha to de wild or henops or any where exciting ?

think youre really going to struggle to get the Adventure package with Lux accessories, but always worth a try

I'm definately itching to let the rubber hit the trail. Think we should look for a weekend to go testing

Definately, the more Hummers we can get the better

Niiice, so your H3 is flying once the RPM's goes over 4,000

That lower RPM power will come in handy, especially with bigger rubber. The V8 doesnt need to get close to 3,000 RPM for normal driving. I'm doing 2,200RPM for 120kph gps speed

JIP, on the 3.7 with my local hills it would kick back to 3rd to keep my speed up with cruise control. with the 5.3 the only kickdown is from overdrive back to top gear (the 250rpm change) . The bullydog indicates average fuel consumtion for the 56km i have done as 14l/100km and thats with some spirited driving

That is awesome congrats on your new alpha I'm sure you have made the right decision the only problem is to make it last as long as possible as you now have one of the last made and there is nothing more after this.
