    • 16 Dec - Depart Pta and stay over somewhere before the border (Beitbrige).
    • 17 Dec - Try and make headway trough the border and spend first night at Mutirikwi dam.
    • 18 Dec - Head East towards Chimanimani.
    • 19 Dec - Head North Cahora Bassa dam. (Mashipanda border post)
    • 20 Dec - Cape Mclear (Zobwe border post)
    • 21 Dec - 26 Dec Mumbo Island
    • 26 Dec - Head south towards Caia (Marka Border post)
    • 27 Dec - Further south towards Inhasorro
    • 28 Dec - 29 Dec Pomene lodge
    • 30 Dec - 7 Jan Barra lodge
    • 8 Jan - Pta via Komatipoort.
If any body got good recomendations for camping or Chalet acc, please forward detail.
Mumbo island, Barra lodge have been booked.
Was thinking about Ugezi Tiger lodge at Cahora Bassa.

Please let me know what you guys think about this with any suggestions are welcome.

    Hi Spook-
    Happy new year!
Why not spend more time in Pomene?
We have been to Barra (over 8 years ago) and it was great but I hear Pomene is possibly even better... would love to hear what you thought.
Hope the trip was great and please let us know how it went.

We did a bit of everything.

Would def recomend to stay at Pomene for a while, very nice camp site and area! At least a week I would say.

We have often gone to Barra in the last 7 years, but Barra has changed allot!
Avoid it in December if you can, the off peak season should be good!

Will work on my trip report in the coming week.
Can I just ad a Word/pdf doc on the site?

How do I post some pics?

    Posting pictures:
Go to [advanced] and click on [manage attachments].
Then select each picture and upload.
You can also attach .pdf or .doc but mind the (limited) size of the file.

There is also another way to insert pictures into your text directly but I can't recall the process. I found detail instruction some time back but where......?
