Shortly completing west coast route from SA to Morrocco; want to return to SA via east coast. Seeking feedback on all possible options for crossing top end to connect both coasts:
1) RoRo ferry Morrocco to Tunisia?
2) Overland Libya and Algeria (visas?)?
3) Or must ferry via Europe (France/Italy)? Best line, departure and transit ports? Approx cost (1 pers, 1 veh)?
Experienced responses greatly appreciated.
Thanks ...

Yes; got your response in the other section, thank you for that, very informative and much appreciated. Was simply looking for further specifics if anyone on this forum had made such a transit recently. Met lots of people on the west coast who have come that way via Europe and intend on heading back up from SA via the east coast, but none who've done the reverse. Specifics regarding ferry routes, companies, costs and best arrival ports, etc, would all be of great value if transit via touch-point into Europe the only way.
