    Default Vibration on Mahindra Bolero

The vehical in question is a Mahindra Bolero 2005 D/C 4x4 Model. It has a vibration between 80 - 100km Hour. We have changed al the baljoints on the front suspension and the steering rack but the problem still proceeds. The vehical is booked at Conti to have the tyres look at as a last resort.
We where hoping for some advice as we may have overlooked something.
    Any advice wood be apreciated.

My Scorpio had a vibration at about 110-120, wheel ballancing etc., nothing helped until I replaced the steel rims with a set of mags. Now she runs smooth as silk. I heard somewhere that the steel rims on Mahindra's are out of round, I think it was on a Indian website.

Thats true, the OP did not mention when the problem started and the odo of the vehicle. Worn or loose wheel bearings can also cause wheel vibrations.

Check your rear(gearbox) mounting. Some guys over torque this and then cause a dooming noise from the cab.

    Default Report from Conti

Thanks for all the advices sofar. The vechical was yesterday to Conti to check if the tyres where oval. The outcome of the test states that two of the tyres where oval and the remaining two tyres shifts on the rims itself, thus going out of balance. They put a special kind of glue on the rims to prevent this from happening again and replaced the other two. So far so good.
