I suppose the gadget guys will come up with a solution for the 1500 litres needed per day...just add a water trailer of some kind to your trailer!

As several have stated, Most smaller systems are not near these figures.

Yip it's definitely not something Iíll be using that often. BUT when thereís no river to swim in, no shade, itís a nice 40íC outside with a low humidity and you know you have enough water with you for the weekend, then Iíll connect up the misting system. Here in the EC itís happening more often than usual

On a different note, I found these misting sprayer heads at my local Spilhaus. My next project will be a custom built misting system that fit perfectly underneath my awning, but removable so that I can hang it anywhere.

Thanks but I unfortunately saw your post a bit late. Just bought the similar looking unit from Parasol for R535

I started THIS thread a few years ago. In the end I made my own with brass nozzles bought from the place I mentioned in that thread. I just turned them into a short length of 20mm irrigation pipe with a stopper on the one end and a Gardina fitting on the other. It has a permanent spot in the Miskruiers nose cone. Quick and easy to fit to the wing, gazebo or a tree branch.

The Sureflow pump is the BL works fine but the mist gets finer and better with higher pressures. Sure I can man up and brave the heat but if I have a simple solution that uses VERY little water...why not? . Same reason I have a fridge and solar system. I can drink warm beer...wait hang on...no I cannot....

When in doubt, paint it black
