I have just had my clutch replaced on my Chev Captiva 2.4 AWD after only 18000 km,s. The vehicle is only 10 months old and has never been off-road. GM Northcliff refused to replace the clutch under warentee saying that it was driver technique. GMSA was also a disappointment when I registered the complaint. I have never in the 25 years of driving had to change a clutch on a vehicle and I do consider myself quite an advanced driver (certificates to prove). The logic does not add up especially after only 18000 km,s without any riding of the clutch or abuse. Are there others out there with the same or similar experiences regrding clutch problems on these vehicles
