    Default Final arrangements for August river trips.

    The final arrangements for both the August trips are as follows:

    Day 1;
    We meet at Mooketsi at 9:00am. This is the last point to refuel. We will be traveling about 180km maks to the next refuel point so make sure you have enough fuel.
    We depart from Mooketsi to the Molotosi river at 9:20.The rest of the trip we will have to play by ear. If we get to the Klein Letaba I think we must enter the river at the game reserve fence and work our way back to Giyani as far as we can go.
    If for any reason you are delayed and cannot be at Mooketsi at 9:00am please call to let us know 082 693 8395 or 084 650 8342.

    Hi Guys, a quick thing or 2, I'm a bit space-strapped for the trip on the 12th, AS WE ALL KNOW HOW MUCH SPACE IS IN A WRANGLER!! We will be 3 pax in the car, 2 sons and myself, will it be okay if I borrow a compressor from one of the forum members when needed on the trip? Then I can leave mine and make a BIT of extra space! Next thing, coming from Tzaneen, Mooketsi is the little town with the double road after Duiwelskloof, YES or NO?

    Ben,

    No problem you can use my compressor. Mooketsi is the town (little) with double road and filling station on the right.

    Ben, i should have some extra space, as i have a boot so you more than welcome to store sweets and any other edible items there if there's no space in your vehicle, i also happen to have a compressor which you can use with pleasure if the others are busy...

    Is anybody staying over anywhere tomorrow for this weekend's trip? if so where and is there some parking for an Isuzu
