Hello, i was in the magaliesburg this weekend and tried to ID this guy but no luck can anybody tell me , its on a farm near the Olifants Nek dam in the kloofs. The photo is not great sorry . The Bird is quite small and has a call Tik Tik Tik Tik which is repeated continuously .

This guy has been bothering me. Very difficult from pic and size is even more tricky. One guess would be Burntneck Eremomela immature. Or Bleating wabler (Camaroptera brachyura),but the distribution is off. Check all the wablers and alike.

One of the stupid mistakes in life is to underestimate peoples level of stupidity!
My best guess would be a juvenile African Red-eyed Bulbul. That eye...
I realise that:
- the sound doesn't make sense, but on the juveniles it seldom does
- the "yellow" tufts under the shoulders are baffling, but it could a trick of the light (See attached specimen from Google sitting in a similar fashion)
- the head appears too lightly coloured, but I've seen one that was completely white
Still just a guess, but that would be my go-to.

Grey-backed Camaroptera...?
Fairly small in size
Found within the region
Leg colour similar (as best as the first photo can portray)
Call is a repetition and seems similar to what @etienne1 described
Yellowish green wings
Rounded tail end

Warblers .... as difficult as cisticolas
1) Lesser swamp warbler ? - Chobe Botswana
