    Default Kasane lodge accommodation

I am looking for a lodge for 2 nights in July (27/28th). Chobe Safari Lodge and Kubu lodge tell me they are fully booked. Can anyone recommend a good comfortable option to these. I would love to stay at Mowana lodge but their rates are a bit hectic. I would hate to book the wife into a tip prior to going bush camping.

Why don't you try Senyati. They are a bit outside Kasane. If you search the forum or google, you will find their website. Haven't been there myself, but were told it's a nice place.

Try Chobe River Lodge, next door to Chobe Safari Lodge, and every bit as good (but no camping).

    I booked one night here : http://waterlilylodge.wheretostayonline.com/
Less expensive than the 2 you mentioned (but also less luxury) and have good rewiews by customers

Water Lily could only offer me 1 night. I think I have got accommodation at Senyati Safari Camp - waiting for confirmation.

Senyati Safari Camp looks good too. The waterhole seems to be busy

Just beware if you pay by Internet transfer they want exchange rate of 1.3. Current exchange rate according to XE.com is 1.1. Otherwise cash then you know exchange rate was right (Autobank withdrawal). We are sleeping there 13; 15 and 23 June will let all know how it was.

Christiaan. I think they intend calculating the full rand cost at the exchange rate ruling at the end of the stay and then deducting the rand deposit. Not sure whether that is correct.
