Lovely pics! Looks like a place I must travel to!

Just want to share some photos of the wonderfull trip we had.
We did:
Baviaanskloof (Gravel road)
R62 from Jeffreys to Uniondale
Prince Alberts Pass to Knysna (Gravel road)
Montagu Pass (Gravel road)
Outaniqua Pass
Robinson Pass
R327 from Mosselbay to Calitzdorp via Herbetsdale and Van Wyksdorp (Gravel road)
Rooiberg Pass (Gravel road)
Swartberg Pass (Gravel road)
Stayed way too short in the Baviaans....
Had to seek other accomodation as no one was at Kudu Kaya to recieve us (made bookings, confirmed the lot....)
Had a damn close call with a Toyota speeding aroud a corner, on our way out of Die Hell.
Diesel prices way higher at coast as in my home town.......

Thanks for the photo of the tree house, we were in the Baviaanskloof from Sat 24April -Mon 26 April and then we went to "Die Hel" also had a few close encounters on the road but nothing too serious.
We were wondering if there was a real tree house now we know. We will be going back to the "Kloof" for sure.
We slept at Doringkloof campsite in the kloof, lovely facilities.

Hi Nodger
What was the total distance covered during you trip?
I see that you're from SB, but I am referring to the sections illustrated by your pictures specifically.
Thanks!

Petrolhead,
All in all we did 5015km in 13 days. The worst part was the stretch from Prince Albert to Gariep Dam and the next morning back to Sasolburg.......
I'm not sure if I sould be alarmed but the Pajero gave me an average 8.7km/l diesel for the whole trip. The best was 9.8km/l and the worst 5.5km/l.

Dankie Naude!
5000km in 13 dae sal enigiemand lam maak, veral die lang been terug huistoe.
Ek ken nie die Pajero's goed genoeg re brandstofverbruik nie, maar dit klink 'n bietjie rof, sover ek verstaan gee die diesels normaalweg beter kilos as wat jy gekry het.
Wind? Swaar gelaai?
Wow, we need to talk ...
Nodger, thanks for sharing. One thing, is that you caravan and did you pull it along all the way? Even through Prince Albert Pass as well as Montagu Pass?

I went over Montagu pass in the rain a month ago. No problem. Had some time to spare and went over it and then back to George with the Outeniqua pass.
We also did the Prince Alfred pass after staying over at Finchleys in Willowmore. On the way back we stayed at Mokala
Saturday we are leaving for the Baviaans

Now this is how you convince someone. Roll on Easter weekend, thanks Wegbreker!
Just to confirm, this is actually the detour I will make then from Oudtshoorn on way to Hartenbos? And the Montagu pass being the part highlighted in the second pdf?
