    Default where

    Hi,

It all depends where in Moz and your level of experience with the Terios.

They are very capable cars with decent ground clearance for sand middle mannetjies.

Pity you didnt get the 4x4 version, because then I am sure all responses would be, yes go.

If you have no sand/offroad experience, take a Sunday off and go and play somewhere safe so that you can learn you and your cars capabilities.

    Cheers

Ooops, sorry I didnt pick up Tofo as a place, my dyslexic brain glanced over it as a spelling mistake.

    Hi Tienieb,

Jip, it can be done in any car (Even a Merc). A friend of mine went to Barra (30km from Tofo - worse road) in his Cross polo, no problems!
Only potential bad roads are the 90km North of Xai-Xai (I understand they are busy fixing that road) and the last odd 50-70km to Inhambane and Tofo, lots of potholes (Just take it easy).

Cheers and enjoy. I love that place!

Last December xmus break (2009) we did Tofo, Barra and sarrounding areas in a Peugeot Boxer kombi. Do not concern yourself at all, it's nothing.

Just take it easy on bad sections of the road as already been said. Be very carefull of the endless checkpoints en route to Inhembane, the Moz police can ruin a perfect holiday!

I lived in Vilanculo (Muuuuuchhh further North) for 2 years. I had a Toyota Tazz which I drove to SA once a month. If you are careful you will be fine

Tofo is not a problem, some inner tracks to Barra are a bit tuff, but deflating should do the trick.
As Ghostrider said, the main roads/tracks to/from turist lodges are mostly fine, but be aware that we've had some serious rain dropping here and it will get bumpy.
