    I've just got off the line to a mate who's in the industry. He can't find the values for the diesel in the book, but a petrol 2009 X-Trail 4x2 is valued as follows;

    Trade - R193,000
    Retail - R222,000

    Apparently if you add R10,000 to each value, you should be very close to the diesel prices.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    CJ

    PS: I imagine the reason the 'stealers' are reticent to give you the values (which they must have access to) is because the less YOU know about the market value of your vehicle, the stronger THEIR negotiating position when offering you a trade in/buying your vehicle.

    Strange...That's there's no prices yet for the vehicle. My dealer also struggled to give me a price and they sold it to me.
