    Default InTheGorge - 22 March

Grab 2 TJ's, 2 JK's and a Drifter, throw in some seriously slippery mud and you've got InTheGorge adventures.

What a day, we were all expecting a fairly dry, challenging route. Instead we got a very wet nearly impossible track.

Thanks to all the guys that could make it, we had a blast.

    Here's the proof:

It's between Krugersdorp and Hekpoort on the R563 http://www.inthegorge.co.za

    Don't go alone though.

cool place that, and I have never seen it dry. You should go after it's been raining for two weeks straight.. That however looks like the free playpen next to the school, not that pay site.

This is the Gorge I know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6IVpFklKWw
    and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hmJ5...eature=related
    and http://www.youtube.com/user/davidabc...31/vNjL9poI70o

Both of them are Fun places.

It was the pay to play area on the East side of the R563.

We have been there just after the rain as well, not pretty

I'm not recognizing any of the places on the video. But then again, I have not been there for nearly a year now and things change so fast.

It's the same place just a lot more overgrown and worn down. Where you were coming down the first slope, that's the one we were going up near the end of the vid.

Awesome place, we were there on Sunday. See report and pics here

Went to both venues and both were wet as hell!

I made it up that first one once nearly two years ago on my third attempt with too much momentum for my liking. Maybe if I had a locker like the Cruiser and the Patrol I followed I would not need that type of speed. Also did not have my KL71's at that stage, so grip on old ATX's is rubbish.
