    Question X Trail fuel consumption

Hi, I own a 2007 2.0 X Trail 2 x 4. The fuel consumption seems to be very erratic and can differ between 7.5 for town driving and 11.50 for open road at 120kph. Is this normal?
The stealers says there is nothing wrong according to the vehicles computor system.
Should I go for a second opinion?

    Hi

My 2009 Dci Trailtjie is doing 17km/L on the open road and about 14 in the city. But it all depends on how u drive.

That is excellant! The gap between my town and open road consumption feels too wide, it used to do about 9 with town driving when I bought it last year.

My 2006 X-trail 2.5 petrol gives me between 9 -10.5 km. per liter (11 to 9.5 litres/100km) With the boat it drops to about 7.5 km per liter (13 litres per 100 km).
