Was out hunting butterflies yesterday when we bumped into a Bronze-winged Courser. Pete Leonard confirmed that they on their way back north and is normally spotted in Zambia late April early May, mostly in open spaces or burn areas.

Pity I did not have my long lens with me but the photo is good enough for a positive ID

Looks like there is a slight colour variation compared to the southern races
