Baie Dankie Gif , sal meer sukke fotos opsit.

Perhaps consider cropping out the back two Whistling Ducks? The one being cut in half seems a bit awkward to me.
Will do Peter thank you for your advice, it is much appreciated. The Raptor is a European Honey buzzard.

I'm not sure it's the lack of mist. The one with the mist is much tighter than these ones, which automatically increases the drama.

But, as I say, it could be just a personal thing. On the whole, I hate mist. Spent three wet and miserable months in the stuff during national service.

FWIW, I think the mist is what makes the cormorant photo. Itís evocative and different.

Thank you philth, I agree. But i suppose as Peter says it comes down to personal preference.

I was closer to the Cormorant when I photographed it in the mist, so was able to crop it more.

Could it not be an immature male Southern Double-collared Sunbird? The yellow pectoral tufts are the give away together with the patchy plumage.
A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water logged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if youíre rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give her your heart and she'll give you hers. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

No not that. Look at the first pic - the Southern double collared does not have the long center tail feathers. the Malachite does have the yellow tufts - just not always visible.

I have been fortunate to photograph this Long Crested Eagle at the golf course. Just a pity about the clutter around the Eagle.

    How is this even possible

I just found one in Colbyn but the moment I get closer than 30m it flies off so just silhouette shots from afar.

I entered this image into a competition and did quite well so I am happy, just want to share it with you guys and gals, yes I know it is already on my Instagram but I don't think this is the same crowd.
