    Default Tracks in KZN.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding tracks in KZN that could be completed in a Subaru Forester?

    Hi All, Hi Colin,

Agree, I and others are trying to generate an interrest in "milder, softroader friendly" 4x4 outings. No hectic car breaking stuff, just offroad fun.

Great places where you can bring your Softie ( X-Trail, Subaru, Freelander, Q5, Tiguan, Volvo XC - ?, 4x2 DL bakkie, Range Rover - TIC, etc). Nice day, some challenges, very little risk of damage, family outing, accompanied by some real 4x4's to help with recoveries if needed.

    Cheers

Plenty thanks to all, much appreciated.
Looking forward to those "milder" tracks mentioned. Please keep me in mind when this gets off the ground.

    Have a good one.

    Hi Grubby,
Killarney 4x4 is in the process of extending the the training facilities and playground. There will be a lot of opportunities to practice and play, especially for the 4x2 difflock and soft 4x4 vehicles, the facilities are up and running again and we will appreciate help in opening the tracks to play.

The people helping with the clearing, will not be charged on the day and can use all the facilities available

Grubby, if you want to make a weekend out of it, I would suggest the Ithala game reserve outside Louwsburg. They have two tracks for 4x4's. Did both with no trouble in the Disco. Only problem I can foresee is if you meet a bad tempered rhino heading your way as the tracks are only wide enough for one of you!!
